Cindy (Yu Pan)
I'm Cindy (Yu Pan), originally from Beijing, China. My family moved to Australia about eight years ago. All of my previous academic and working experiences were related to food science and technology, which I really liked very, very much. Then, I felt that I longed for more knowledge on dairy, and the Food Science Program at University of Melbourne (Melb Uni) is very focused on dairy and other food technology. My three years PhD study at Melbourne University enriched my skills not only in dairy science and biotechnology but also in other area such as leadership, presentation skills and critical thinking and analysis, which resulted in my later success in working for Murray Goulburn (the biggest dairy company in Australia) as a research scientist and School of Dental Science, Melbourne University as a research fellow. Without the education from Melbourne University, I would never have made such huge progress in my career.
